I'm not sure if there's a specific page length for treatments. I imagine they shouldn't be longer than 15 to 20. A treatment that's any longer than that would almost seem pointless. You might as well just send them the script at that point. The treatment is essentially nothing more than your script written in short story format and is designed to give the reader a deeper understanding of the story you're trying to tell. If you can write the treatment in 3 pages more power to you. If needs 15...well let's hope the reader isn't apposed to it. If they bothered to ask for a treatment though chances are they are prepared for something a bit longer than 3 to 5 pages.

That's my take on it as I understand it. Hope that helps.

My opinion is that shorter is better. Do some Googling on movie treatments and you'll find some examples.

I have been reading up - or at least trying to - on Treatments. I have seen recomendations from 3 pages all the way up to 15 pages. Is there an advised length "not to exceed" for Treatments? If I understand it right Treatments are the go between of Synopsis and full script. Any advice on length and style would be appreciated - or links to follow.
