I am pleased and proud to announce the opening of
http://www.michiganindependentfilm.org, the home site of a new non-profit organization serving independent filmmakers in Michigan. Michigan Independent Film aims to support, promote, and assist low-budget and no-budget independent filmmakers through networking, support, and education, because we believe that everyone's voice adds to the discussion, and new voices can broaden the perspectives of us all.
Since we're just at the beginning, nothing is graven in stone yet, but we are working on this daily, and the response we're getting is nothing short of phenomenal.
