That is their job, and they expect to be paid to perform it.
Not an unreasonable expectation.

Let me clear up a few things ...

InkTip will provide your synopsis and script to their qualified industry professionals (read: real studio people) for something like $60 for 6 months, which is cheap. InkTip has the best track record of ANY of these services. Their successes:

Feature Films Produced: 85         Scripts Sold: 145       Scripts Optioned: 688       Writers Repped: 207       Writers Hired: 243

They get results and they don't work for free.

VERY cool!  60 bucks is all?

I found this Company D, which is a theater company in Ireland: http://www.companyd.ie/

It's not called company D...it's just some ridiculous deal where they give us what the companies want but we have to pay money to see the names.

I just received an email from inktip that included a list of several companies interested in scripts, and what type of scripts they were interested in. They will not tell us lowly 'free subscribers' the names; we must pay an insane amount of money to find out. This was one of the companies:

Company D **   We are looking for completed feature-length, youth protagonist, drama scripts as samples for a possible writer-for-hire opportunity.  We own the rights to a classic, best-selling novel and are looking for a writer skilled in writing about young characters in difficult circumstances to adapt the story to the screen.  We are not open to horror or straight comedy samples at this time.   Submissions should be in the vein of “Thirteen,” “Mean Creek,” “Kids” (but a shade lighter), or “Heavenly Creatures."    Budget has yet to be determined.  WG and Non-WG writers may submit.

It just so happens that I just finished a feature-length script with a youth protagonist (http://www.scriptbuddy.com/community/?p=4291533144&t=&pg=), and I am very skilled at writing about young characters. This may or may not be because I am thirteen years old (but read the script before you judge). I know there are a few "insiders" on this forum, and I'm praying someone knows who this company is.

Thanks so much,
Fish Stark
