I find it so hard when you know how to write and speak well and make stupid mistakes when you're typing quickly. But it is true that when someone reads your posts or letters and finds a lot of mistakes, they assume your work (scripts) is of the same quality.

Nice suggestion, ScriptNurse.

When you can write and speak well, you will be taken far more seriously. Get serious, get skilled and then go kick some literary ass.
Amen, Brother Don.  Testify.

The writer's tools are his words, and the structures in which they are placed.  If this writer is not skilled in the use of these tools, the resultant structure will be lacking.

When the skeleton is strong, the body is strong.

If I may make a suggestion ... you will do better and go farther much faster if you learn to write well. You are right in that "if the work is good, the work is good" and if your post is any indication, it's not very good. You have many misspelled words, incorrectly structured sentences and improper punctuation.

Everything you ever wanted to know about proper English grammar is available FREE at www.englishgrammar101.com.

Now, I did not intend to discourage you, but to provide you with a dose of reality. The greatest story in the world cannot be told if it cannot be communicated. Written communication takes skill that you currently lack. The good news ... you can acquire the skills in just a few months. When you can write and speak well, you will be taken far more seriously. Get serious, get skilled and then go kick some literary ass.

Hi my name is Blossom Greene and my whole entire life I dream of becoming a screenwriter. I know you guys get a million of letters, so here it is. There are so many stories out there in the world that could be used on television but there are so little writters out there right now due to the economy. I have tried everything I possibly could like sending in my screenplays to companies calling up over 300 numbers for a screenwriting agent because I had to be "referred by someone". Although I'm 17 age does not matter and should never matter because " if the work is good, the work is good". I recently got involved with a book publishing company, Xlibris, to publish my book I started in 8th grade. When I got a job, I was able to save up enough money to finally have my book published. I have worked so hard, not saying that other writers have not, but I am saying is that if you know someone( a connection) that can get me into the screenwriting buisness, I'd really appreciate it because now I have learned it's also "who you know". If you can not help me, I understand because the writing buisness is hard but if you can, I'd truly appreciate it

After being quite successful at short film festivals with my last film (Underground), I am now trying to put together a second short film project.

Since I was having quite a hard time with the story the last time around, I now want to do this the right way from start and have the script written written by a professional. I really want to focus on producing and directing this time.
This project is very different from start. First of all I have a donor involved, who is willing to finance a large part of the production costs.
- under one condition: He must like the story and it will be a project that will have good chances of getting into the top 5 international film festivals.
Meaning: You will get paid an agreed fee or %, once the budget gets cleared and we are going ahead with the production. I am NOT working with multiple writers at the same time, so this is not a writing competition. If we agree to work together, then there wont be anyone else involved.

The story in question is something that I have been thinking about for a long time now and I have gathered dozens of photographs and video snippets that will hopefully explain my "vision"  Roll Eyes
To out it in a nutshell: The story is about photography and about how the world is seen through the eyes of a little girl (dont take this too literal).

If you are interested in this project, please get in touch with me.
You can find my last film here: Underground
and some more infos about myself here: Markus Etter
if you click on albums it will ask you for a password to the showreel pages. Password: laura

Looking forward to hear from you

Markus
