Hi my name is Blossom Greene and my whole entire life I dream of becoming a screenwriter. I know you guys get a million of letters, so here it is. There are so many stories out there in the world that could be used on television but there are so little writters out there right now due to the economy. I have tried everything I possibly could like sending in my screenplays to companies calling up over 300 numbers for a screenwriting agent because I had to be "referred by someone". Although I'm 17 age does not matter and should never matter because " if the work is good, the work is good". I recently got involved with a book publishing company, Xlibris, to publish my book I started in 8th grade. When I got a job, I was able to save up enough money to finally have my book published. I have worked so hard, not saying that other writers have not, but I am saying is that if you know someone( a connection) that can get me into the screenwriting buisness, I'd really appreciate it because now I have learned it's also "who you know". If you can not help me, I understand because the writing buisness is hard but if you can, I'd truly appreciate it

Are you an award winning writer. We are a movie production company looking for writers to partner with. We at Atlanta Homicide are looking for Detective (CSI Style) scripts 22-44 pages long. Special effects or stunts should be kept to one or two per script. (but should not be needed to make the script work) We will be shooting one script every 2 weeks. We have teamed with a well respected casting agency that will be assisting us in getting quality talent for each script. Each production will be shot on an HD Cam + a full grip package and will have a completed product within two weeks. We also have professional Directors and DP's that have agreed to assist us in this TV series quest. You as a script writer will be responsible for a small part of the budget up to $2500. We will match this plus any other expenses needed to complete the process and will group it with our other detective films. We will sale these as a TV series in January but we need to have at least 13 films.  We currently have 7.  Yours could be our next one. Please keep in mind last time we did something like this we got an overwhelming response so we will not be able to address every response but we will read the first two pages of every script until we find ones that we are confident we can serve justice to and maintain a high production value too.

Also all writers will keep full joint control of their film as long as you are willing to make needed script changes as we go through the production process.
To see our latest production please visit the following link- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0rRi5Oc3iM
Please feel free to call the producer Carl at 678-698-1970 if you have questions.

Contact Wayne and ask! The adage: "If you don't ask, you don't get" applies.  Smiley

Hi Don, thanks for the welcome by the way.

I was wondering if people who are new to the process of writing for the screen allowed to apply? Thanks
