Actually I had just though of that right after I posted it. It's a good point. The death of her friend really isn't necessary for the logline. More of a one-sheet kind of deal. So is that last part, the part you suggested, what I should go with? Does it read well? I tried to be as simple about it as possible but still give enough information to spark interest.

What does her dead friend have to do with it? Why can't it just be: A young woman suddenly becomes the center piece of a secret religious war between vampires.
