I just sat through the most depressing and yet inspiring film I've ever subjected myself to.  "Tales From the Script" is a documentary capturing the experiences of various screenwriters (William Goldman, Paul Schrader, and Frank Darabont to name a few) and their journeys as hollywood writers.  If you Netfilx, it's a Watch Instantly option.
