If you're a newbie selling to a studio, it's usually 75-100 against 200-300 ... that's $75,000-$100,000 purchase against $200,000-$300,000 if it goes into production and the cameras roll.  If you're a seasoned and money-making writer, it can be 2-3 times that.

Sorry if this ? has been asked a million times but I conducted a search and couldn't find the answer. How much do studios or exces or producers usually pay screenwriters for their scripts?
