Thank you both for the warm welcome!  Yes, from what I've journeyed of the site so far, it is extremely helpful here for writers.  And I could always use more keester motivation, preferably from a deafening bullhorn, you know, when inspiration alone isn't enough, ha....  Anyway, sounds great!  I think I'll dive a bit deeper into the pool.

Yes, Jeremy... welcome indeed!

We do try to be welcoming, helpful, and accommodating... and we can also provide the proper motivation ("Plunk your keester down on your chair and write!") when necessary.  We can read your script and give our opinion about whether it works or not, or give you an anecdote about how we (or someone we know) were in a similar predicament and how it turned out.  We can light up your smokes and laugh at your jokes.

That sort of thing.

So come on in... any number can play.

Cheers!

Hello everyone.  I'm a newbie here.  My name is Jeremy, and I write mainly science fiction and fantasy.  A novel I wrote called Destiny of the Sword was published back in 2007.  It's the first installment of an epic fantasy trilogy.  The second act is finished but has yet to be published, and I'm working on the final installment these days as well as a few screenplays.

Writing novels and creating new worlds was where I first started, and my first love -- until I found screenwriting five years ago!  My first finished screenplay was an adaptation of Destiny of the Sword, and I've been shopping it around to anyone who will hear me. I haven't generated many reads for the thing, but those who have seemed to enjoy it -- just haven't found the right business partner yet.  Lately, I've been polishing up the second installment of my trilogy into screenplay form as well as writing another science fiction screenplay which I'll leave unnamed for now.

I think this site is packed with valuable screenwriting tips and helpful tenants who all share similar aspirations.  I'm grateful to now be a part of this community and look forward to meeting all of you.  If you want to explore a little more about me, feel free to jump to www.destinyofthesword.com

Cheers,
Jeremy Twigg
