I'm currently working on a script for a sci-fi action movie about the efforts of a US Special Forces platoon to save the planet from an invading alien race. Think Black Hawk Down meets Alien/Predator. The script is coming along well but I'm struggling to come up with authentic military dialogue between the troops. I have a few military reference books and I've searched the net but can't seem to find good examples. Does anyone know of any good books/websites with transcripts of radio communication between forces? Or, alternatively, where can I find the screenplay for Black Hawk Down online?

Thanks in anticipation,

Martin

Here's something sort of like what you are looking for: http://www.logicsouth.com/~lcoble/dir9/commo.htm
These guys provide advice, but no mention is made as to whether or not they charge a fee: http://users.aol.com/vets3/index.html

Get the scripts of movies you feel use authentic military dialgoue and emulate them.
