You might try Paul S. Levine in Venice, CA. Website:  http://www.paulslevine.com/

He specializes in book deals.

i'm interested in optioning the rights to a book.

i would like to hire someone to do all the leg work for me in finding out if the book is available, price, etc. i tried to do this a few years ago to no avail.

what the is the correct title of a person or company that does this type of work?

can someone recommend someone in the Los Angeles area?

thanks!
