Evestudios.com is (for the most part) gone.  The blog part of the site hacked... They attempted to get Credit Card Numbers from bank customers.  My hosting company dropped me, blaming me as the culprit.  The db format of the backup made me unable to access my articles without hosting.  I was able to salvage some of the pages that were cashed by Google and placed it back on evestudios.com or murderedrum.com.  There is still a website for RoughDraft with downloads, here is the location:

http://www.salsbury.f2s.com/

I'll repost how to setup RoughDraft 3.0 to give similar output as other commercial software in the near future.  Currently, I'm out of a job and looking for work.  Sorry that I can't give all the details right at the moment...  The original article didn't account for some discrepancies that I noticed earlier and will account for that in a future article.  Thank you for your interest!

Eve Studios website is now gone.

I believe that Rough Draft is no longer being developed and the original website is gone.

Ron,
I was trying to download information about setting roughdraft. But, this link is not working.
Also, evestrudios.com has not in the mentioned section this article.
By any chance, do you have this information available.
I have roughtdraft 3.0 and works fine to me. I love to get more from this software.

Thank you for your help onthis matter.

Hello! This is my first post, so before I jump into my rant, let me first introduce myself. (How tacky and tasteless!) Prior to exploring movie production, wrote movie reviews on the eclectic cult movie site,  10kbullets.com.  Living south of Seattle, I'm currently in preprodution for my first movie, an undisclosed documentary.  I'm somewhat new to the whole process, I'm hoping to learn as much as I can in what little time I have available and sharing what I've learned along the way.

Before of hearing of MindStar's Cinergy Script Editor, (from your site, of course.) I only knew of Rough Draft.  After some tweaking, I discovered I could write a Spec Script equal to some commerical software.  Noteably, it doesn't have all the perks, however Rough Draft has enough of the bells and whistles to complete a script.

Evestudios.com - DIY - Free Screenplay Software offers on how to install and setup Rough Draft to work like a champ.

Thanks, and what a great forum!  I'll be including you on my list of links!</td>

That's great information. Many of our members are looking for a good writing program and with the extra help from Evestudios, it looks like they've found it!

BTW, Don Bledsoe, you might want to update the software for Rough Draft to version 3.0.

It's done! This is the first I've heard of a new version. Thanks for letting me know. It's in the download section now.
