Hey all I'm Rebecca, most call me Becky. I'm currently a photography student but I my heart lies with film. The only reason I am a photo major is because they don't offer film as a major at the community college, so i am transferring in the fall as an official film major. I am so unbelievably excited to truly start the learning process. Writing and film are the first careers I have thought of without thinking about the money, just the fun of my job. I have taken a couple of film classes so far but nothing major. I must say however, once that camera is in my hand, I am in my own little world and I love it. Being able to express myself is one of the most important things in life to me.
As far as writing goes, I am currently working on three very different ideas. They are coming along well, slow, but well and at the end of the night when I take one last look at what I have done, I reluctantly head to bed and cannot wait to get up and get started again. Writing for me has always been second nature, but it was always poetry or shot stories things of that nature. When I started trying to write my first screenplay I realized how different it was and how much more of a challenge as well, and I think that was what truly attracted me to it to begin with. The challenge.
Outside of film and writing I am vice president of the Human Rights Club at my school and I am into animal rights as well. I am vegan also. I read, I sail, I ponder the meaning of  life :O) ok that last one not so much heh. I love life and love and animals and all things in between. And finally, I am looking forward to meeting new people, making new connections and really starting my writing career off with a bang, I'll even settle for a poof instead.
