Cloud Of Suspicion appears to be a good story. This sounds like the best one for you to "go for broke" on. (Cessna has two S's) It's a good synopsis.
The Sanctuary, however, is loose and rambling, not a good synopsis at all. It is filled with unclear sentences, and incorrect punctuation. If you will do a serious re-write, I'll check back and see if I can help. Basically, it sounds like a good premise.
Your spelling of "centre" and phrase referring to "in hospital' lead me to believe you're writing from the British Isles. Am I correct?

Cloud of Suspicion

A millionaire horse owner flies home from a race up in Doncaster.  He concentrates on rearing bloodstock but has had a prominant position in an animal experimentation centre so has attracted unwelcome attention from Animal Rights. His Cesna aircraft develops a fault, causing it to crash on the edge of a forest and burst into flames. Initially it looks like an accident but when the police visit the wife, they begin to have other ideas.

The Sanctuary

A young man, Hamish McClean, working for the United Nations in London, attends the trial of his wife's murderer when Sophie was killed in a road rage attack. The culprit receives a hefty sentence, whereby justice has been done. His brother in law, Simon suggests he has a complete career break, working for his brother at a Sanctuary in Cornwall. One of the volunteer's, brother, Tom, a fisherman is less than enthusiastic about the sanctuary. One night, with a few fellow henchmen, they invade the sanctuary, injuring the seals and leaves Desmond for dead. In fact Desmond dies in hospital of cardiac arrest, leaving Hamish to run the sanctuary with the help of Julia. Tom flees the country until he thinks that the coast is clear but Julia with reluctance, is forced to betray him so that when he does return, he makes a bolt for it but during a police chase, the landrover, loaded with petrol cans loses control and crashes into the sea below, exploding en route.    Hamish and Julia become engaged to be married during the wake after Desmond's funeral
