Portland!  Where my brother-in-law lives... (in the 'burbs, actually... close enough).

The get-you-topic/write-fast/shoot-fast/edit-fast sort of contest seems to be growing in popularity, from what I've seen.  I think this is a Good Thing.  Not enough time to screw it up  Builds the reflexes for shooting on the fly.

I am joining Team Riverscape Pictures in Portland, OR on August 10-12 as screenwriter for their entry in the International 48 Hour Film Festival. This ought to be fun ... being handed a genre and a character in the evening on Friday, August 10 ... and the race is on! My mission is to bang out a script before midnight.
