I used Slang2 and liked it but found that if you did not save after every time  it was opened it would do a complete data dump of the opened file.  I would have to open an old backup in text, clean it of extraneous symbols, reformat and then cut and past it back into the program and save.  This happened twice before I got in the habit of saving even if I had not changed the file or added data.

I, too, have used these programs for a while.  They're easy to use, the price is right, and they're very forgiving, on the whole.

I just don't see using them for anything long.
(Not that there's anything wrong with that...)

This suite was for me the best choice 2 years ago. I have used it to write a whole 30 minutes shortfilm for a contest.

Sreiptmaker It is easy to use, very friendly and ...FREE !!!!
His creator Ian Pengler did something good by making this available to everyone.
Thank you Ian for developing it, and thank you Don, for making it available trough this site 2 years ago.
