Naah, he doesn't have the blue Kool-Aid.  Red, yellow, green, maybe... but not blue.
We all know what we know, and have no hesitation sharing our opinions.

Now I must go post my problem of the day.

Gee, maybe the brainwashing is starting to work. One thing we're not short of here is opinions, but you have the luxury to totally and completely blow us off if you believe differently. I like to think we give each other "options."

Allow me to welcome you, as well.

I've been a victim of self-victimization myself.  Ooooh, that sounds repetitively redundant!  You just have to apply these three handy steps to help you get over it:
  • 1.  Apply seat of pants to seat of chair.
  • 2.  Write.  Write your list of excuses, if you must, but write.
  • 3.  Finish what you write.
After that, read it out loud, and revise what sounds wrong.

Thanks for the welcome.
Hopefully I'll be able to contribute something other than belly aching.

Welcome to the club of those of us who've papered our walls with rejection slips.
Well, not EVERYTHING has been rejected, but the percentages are staggering.
Ah, well! Writing is what we do, right? Maybe we'll become famous after we're gone.
Anyhow, welcome!

What to tell...
Wrote alot in the late 80s, went to film school with dreams of the sacks of cash, sports cars with names I can't pronounce, multi talented girlfriends and a house in the hills.
Didn't go as planned.
Ended up crewing for years to pay the bills. Quit in 2003 after everybody's brother's second cousin could get a key position and of course they were the next biggest director.
So I went back to writing on the side. Wasted another 5 years.
Now in the 323 area code and going for broke.
I blew the dust off my early work and I'm dragging them kicking an screaming into the daylight. Some good, some not so good...
Optioned several, sold none but got close.
Trolling the waters for a new agent. The world has changed. Alot.  Tongue
Read alot here already and I like it.
Thanks for letting me visit
