Just in case you're running Vista, this might work. I got it working on my laptop with Vista sp1 this way.

In Vista, you can't save the installer to the root of C:.  Try creating a folder called C:\Downloads and download to that location.  Then do the run-as-administrator from there.

I still prefer my old Movie Magic, which works fine on my XP desktop and with Vista, but can't resist trying out other software. If I put the effort into my screenplay, I'd probably be further along.

This is intended for a production environment, as the editor has hooks in it to their scheduling and budgeting system. Very few screenwriting packages do that.

I admit, it's a little strange replying to myself.
(Feels like arguing with myself -- and losing.)

I've been working with Cinergy a bit more, since I'm writing things to shoot myself, and I have to say, it's not bad.  Not bad at all.

I like some of the features it has that relate to a pre-production environment, like locking the script.

For someone writing spec scripts, this is of no value, though.
I still give it a 78.

This software, I must admit, is not one I'd have tried without access to the contest.  (Or, at least, not right away.)
It's not the most intuitive, but it's not the most intrusive, either... It's got a good beat, and I can dance to it, so I'll give it a 78.
