So I'm typing away on the trusty Mac. 12 years using Mac and never a problem. Until today.
The hard drive starts making ticking and popping noises. And then everything fades to black.
It died.
I lost seven features and a pilot plus the first two episodes I was writting.

Lost everything really but those were the most important.
Yes, I have hard copies but I'll still have to transcribe them back into Movie Magic. It was a dumb mistake but what I do other than learn.
New Macs with the Intel chip aren't like the old ones. They these ones break.
Moral of the story: ALWAYS backup your work on a disc or removeable drive.
