A very good. I read through all of them. I must say, I was a little dissapointed with some. It just seems like some of the lines taken from movies could easily have been beaten out by other, stronger lines. The biggest dissapointment was the lack of HAL's response to Dave. I've always felt that the two lines go together, but apparently the list thinks differently.

Still, it's a good list. A fun, quick read. Some of those lines I hadn't thought about in a long time.

There was a story (possibly apocryphal) that in an early version of the Lotus 1-2-3 add in called "HAL", that if you typed in the language parser, "Open the pod bay doors, Hal", it would respond with that quote.

Programmer humor.  Ar ar ar ar...
