seansshack and llojo are two fine writers.  So are many of the others here.
And, of course, there's the Big Mojo himself, Don.
Even I have my uses, from time to time...

I'm not from San Antonio, but I've been there.
I have recently retired due to crippled hands and other assorted ailments, but I'll be glad to help.
If you'll post an example of your work here (attach it to a post) there are several of us who will comment and offer suggestions. We are an honorable bunch, and your work will be safe. We're also reasonably gentle.

The last time I was in San Antonio was Labor Day '97, for the World Science Fiction Convention.  Good times...
