Welcome.
Since I seem to be one of the voices of encouragement here, it's going to be a bit of a challenge {to others} for me to switch modes here, but I can do it easily enough...
{click} Writing is NOT something you do casually. Like wrenches to a mechanic, or saws, hammers, and chisels to a carpenter, so are words to a writer... TOOLS. You need to care about the words you use, fitting the right word to the right moment, much as a mechanic uses a 5/8" deep drive cushioned socket to remove a spark plug, instead of a hammer and cold chisel.
Spelling, grammar, and style are all important. No one will take you seriously if you submit a script with spelling errors, egregious grammatical blunders, or hackneyed phrasing. Your writing should flow trippingly on the tongue of the reader's mind, conveying both what you say and how you think it should be seen in the mind's eye.
This takes practice. Write. Get opinions. Rewrite. Get more opinions. Rewrite again. Polish. Smooth a rough spot. Buff out a scratch. Lower the frame, if necessary; chop the top, lead it, sand it, repaint, sculpt your idea in the only material you have to offer... words. Words should be your constant companions, closer than any lover, more a part of you than air, or food, or blood itself.
Quoting Mark Twain, "The difference between the right word and the almost-right word is as simple as the difference between the lightning... and the lightning bug."

Well, since the short tirade's over, let me welcome you again if I haven't frightened you off completely to our little playground. As they say, "Any number can play".
