Oh, certainly so.  Been there, done that.
Burned the negatives.

Cheers!

Guess I meant the fear of rejection can stop people from doing things. Not just in writing.....

Well, Sean, it's not the possibility of rejection that's at issue.  Rejection is a very binary value; it's rejected or it's not.  The certainty of rejection exists when it isn't even submitted.

And I believe I see Padma's point... Do the work for the intrinsic value of the work itself, and don't worry about any rewards or penalties.

Of course, if I didn't see Padma's point, this will be an exercise in futility, so please disregard.  This is a recording...

Cheers!

I agree. We all fear rejection. But if we avoid the possibility of rejection, we would never achieve anything.

Trust me. I've had my fair share of late. But back working on another draft...

Padma,

Subject is not the issue... your entry either fits in MINI-MOVIE (3-5 pages) or SHORT SUBJECT (10-20 pages).

As long as it fits in the guidelines Don put down, it's got a chance.

LENGTH: MINI-MOVIE: 3 pages MINIMUM and 5 pages MAXIMUM plus title page; SHORT SUBJECT: 10 pages MINIMUM and 20 pages MAXIMUM plus title page; live action only (no anime, cartoon silents or narrative voice-over only scripts).
Hi Script Nurse,
I am having some doubt here . What do you mean by Mini Movie ? Is it the number of pages my script will  contain ?
I will be thankful to you ,if you please clarify . I have written a four page script . Can I submit it ?

Padma,
The script should be no less than three pages.  It should be no more than five pages.  Four pages fits right in the middle.

Cheers!
