Once Ariel Sharon wakes up, we can ask him.  I've heard of some long-term patients being cared for by the immediate family, in some cases.

I believe a lot of long term coma patients are cared for in state-run convalescent homes, but I could be wrong.

Hi all,

I'm currently working on a second screenplay and I've hit a minor brick wall. Does anybody know where long term coma patients are held in America, particularly those whose identity is unknown? Thanks in advance.
