It took them about a week to reply that they received my entry.
One page was definitely difficult.  I totally agree with having to cut down too much - if only I had one more page!  But then I always need one more page.

You might want to check out moviepoet.com if you have not been there yet.  There is a monthly free contest with a 5 page limit.  No prizes, the focus there is on feedback, which I've found very helpful.  A good group too.
