Writing Screenplays

If you know how to use Microsoft Word for either the PC or Mac and can press the Enter key on the keyboard, you already know how to use Writing Screenplays. The software comes with add-ins for feature spec scripts and sitcoms.

Installation and set-up of Writing Screenplays is a snap. Just follow the simple instructions in the included PDF manual and you'll be ready to start banging out your next project in minutes. A word of caution: you may need to adjust some settings in Word's Tools -> Options in order to have everything look just right for your personal preferences. For example, I had to turn off Show Tabs and Paragraph marks to clean up the look of the page for my personal preference.

Writings Screenplays is easy to use. A toolbar is automatically installed to let you set or change any element on the page to a Scene Heading, Normal Text, Character Name, Parenthetical, Dialogue or Transition. In additon, there are very handy buttons to insert INT, EXT, DAY, NIGHT, CUT TO and DISSOLVE. Plus, you get the added benefit of Word's automatic spellcheck and grammar check features. A quick click turns Scene or Page Numbering on or off. All changes are instant.

THE BOTTOM LINE: You can't ask for easier to use formatting software than Writing Screenplays.
