Our screenwriting website is all about screenwriting education, screenplay articles, writing resources, screenwriter forums, movie script advice and contests for writers. You'll also find screenwriting software, script writing books and other information no matter what genre you write in: comedy, drama, action, horror, thriller or sci-fi. If you're looking to improve your scenes, characters, dialogue or try out ideas, we hope we can help. Whether your interest is in filmmaking or writing spec scripts for feature film or a teleplay for television, try us for ideas and suggestions.

This site is different from other screenwriting sites you may have found. We're not selling advice, services, consultations or coverage, and we won't promise you we can put your script in front of 50 producers. There are people who can do these things (very few), but that's not what we do.

Our advice is free. Take it or leave it, that's up to you. You'll also find we're pretty honest around here. If we don't like something, we'll say so, often with a few suggestions. Remember that we do mean well, but we all share the common vision that this is also the one place where you'll hear the truth that you're unlikely to hear elsewhere. Sometimes we're candid and blunt because we want you to get it. Always remember that we're all rooting for you. We all want you to be the best writer you can be. We'll also lavish the praise when it's due because we all know you've more than earned it.

Visit the forums often. It's the pulse of Script Nurse. A lot of very interesting people with varied backgrounds hang out there. The screenwriters who frequent the forums are very international, so don't be surprised to be engaged in a discussion with writers from Europe, Africa or Asia.

If I can do anything to help, call on me.
